As inexplicable as it is, life sometimes doesnt leave us with the choices we wish for. We will never know what is right or wrong but only bear the courage to sometimes wish hard and work hard towards what we want. If we stop for a moment to think, at this very second, how far have we come in this journey? Is this how we wanted it all?
The countless questions that arise would have different answers bringing the realization to surface the gap between our wishes and the reality were living today. For some, it may be a small gap. But for many, it would be big.
As the wind blows in this cold night and gently hits against my fa

I dont want to talk to you again, freak. Get out of here, you hear?! He then decided to loudly slam the apartment door in my face. Everyone else from the other apartments came out to see what was going on. I couldnt understand what was going on. Why would James do this to me? I never did anything wrong. All I did was say that I like a girl, and I just stood there in the middle of the buildings hallway, more dumbstruck than someone whos heard an extremely offensive joke. Too stunned and embarrassed to say a word, I finally picked up my bag and headed downstairs, still trying to make sense out of everything.

KEEPER
There are many that believe that there is life beyond that of Earth. Martians, Aliens and other weird beings could exist beyond the stars. Yet the curiosity of finding them out if one thing, the fact of fearing what they might be like is overlooked. For once humans find something that is unknown to them, they we fear it. It has and always will be the way of the Human race... But when it comes to finding something and fearing it humans do the one thing that has come naturally to them over their existence... They destroy it...

I remember someone asking if I knew anything about war. I said no, at the time; but I do know about it. But not the kind theyre thinking of, with guns and armies in far away places. This is much closer, and there are just 3 people involved.
It started small. Arguments over small things; one person coming home late, the other forgetting to pay a bill. Theyd argue, like everyone does, and then theyd seem ok. I never really noticed it then. I just thought it was normal.
Then, one night, something broke.
Where have you been?
Do you have to know everything? For Gods sake, leave me alone.

The Death of Damien
There wasn't any night stranger than the night a man named Damien was murdered. Almost nobody knew who did it, and would rather leave it at that, for it was too grisly to talk about. Even the police were baffled over who might've done it and why! However, there were two ladies who knew the truth, and they were the ones responsible for his death in the first place.
The night was dark yet pleasant. Some people may not have wished to be in a graveyard at this time of the day, but for Kiersta, it was where she had finally brought her mother back. Tristen was her name, and she was a beautiful woman with dark hair as black as the night sky. Her ha

A spiteful wind blew through the ragged town; their loosened clothes caped off of them, as if they were wiry, thin trees with twined branches. Everything in spectrum was gray: The sky gave a dull light; with only rain, snow, sleet, and thunder to offer. The ground was brown and hard from the soils nutrience drained, the few trees that were there were dying or weak, and unfruitful. It was a barren, like a cold desert. The inhabitants themselves seemed to mirror this environment; many of them were as frightfully thin and ill as their home and their tired, shabby faces reflected despair. But they could not leave, moreover this was their ho

Haunted Part 1
A cold draft blew across the room, moving thick dust across the bare floorboards. The room was empty, apart from a broken wooden chair in a far corner, and a dark-haired girl laying face down on the cold dusty floor. Very little light entered the room through a single boarded up window; the room was getting steadily darker.
The girl stirred as a man entered the room. She looked up, her face pale and her eyes wide with fear. She was covered with bruises and cuts, and seemed very weak. She tried to move away as he moved closer to her, but he grabbed her arm and held her still.
He knelt in front of her in the dust, still holding her arm in his

No podía escapar.

I closed my eyes and pressed a hand against the wound on my forehead, feeling too weak to get up. My head was spinning and I felt dizzy, but I could remember everything. It was etched in my memory and it would be there forever, I couldn't believe what had happened...
I sat there for a minute, breathing heavily and trying to stop my forehead bleeding. Once I didn't feel so dizzy, I opened my eyes and wiped the blood out of them so I could see.
The room was empty now. I looked around. It was dark now… I couldn't hear him outside anymore. Maybe…
I got up slowly, the room spinning for a few seconds as I did, and went to the door. I pressed mys

Ana gripped her coffee cup and looked across the table at her husband. He looked like a photograph from the 1930s, with loose tie and shadows where shadows shouldn't be. Tears made her eyes shiny and her mouth red but he didn't notice.
"How could you?"
He didn't answer and looked away, focusing on nothing and avoiding her. His pupils were small and the clear blue of his eyes was unsettling. His hands shook a little, covered in cold sweat. He swallowed, and somewhere above a fly crawled over a light bulb.

I woke up earlier than usual, but not early enough. I only just had time for a quick shower, and then I ran out to catch the train, eating breakfast on the way. When I got there at long last, just in time for the train, I sat on a bench to wait and saw a newspaper next to me. I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't help having a look at the front page. It wasn't a good idea. Everything was there, even photos. My name, my parent's names, my little brother… I looked away from the paper, shaking my head. I couldn't believe what had happened.
Those images on the front page stuck in my mind; I doubt I'll ever get rid of them. The wreckage, the fi

I am no fan of chaos, but I cannot deny I would love the opportunity to send out invitations across the various planes of existence and gather together, in one place, the strangest motley crew Shakespeare could have ever imagined. Invitations, by the way, written in nice, elaborate, Gothic-style calligraphy and with fine print carefully stating that I am not responsible for anything the guests do. Oh, and a place rented for the purpose; I am afraid my house is too small to host the required number of disreputable individuals to make this truly wonderful. Due to the particular nature of the beasts who will sup with me tonight, I have also chos
